What is my aftercare?

The day after treatment, gentle massage of the treated areas is required. This looks like applying a small amount of serum or facial oil to the face then massaging with small circular motions for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, and for 5 days. This ensures smooth results!

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra's active ingredient is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). PLLA is a biostimulator that activates fibroblast cells to produce collagen. Collagen acts as the scaffolding that lifts and supports the skin. Collagen supports hyaluronic acid (for moisture) and elastin (for firm and bouncy texture).

How is it done and how many treatments will I need?

A small hole is created in the skin, and a blunt-tipped cannula is used to place product in strategic locations. Most clients require at least 2-3 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart then annual maintenance.

How long will my appointment take and will it hurt??

The appointment will take around 45 minutes. We mix a numbing agent with the Sculptra (as per manufacturer’s guidelines) so it is a well-tolerated procedure.

What will I look like immediately after treatment?

Your skin may feel tight or slightly swollen. This is usually gone by 24 hours. Some redness, bruising, and tenderness may also occur.

How long before I see results?

Sculptra's benefits start at 4 weeks then develop over the course of months. Usually a series of 3 treatments is required for full results as the collagen will grow with every treatment session.

"My experience with Sophie has been magical! She takes her time and listened to my concerns. I had Sculptra done for the 1st time and I felt extremely at ease and comfortable during the whole process."
