How do I get a skincare recommendation?
Book a skin consultation or ask during your next appointment. Sophie will assess your skin, concerns and current routine, then recommend products and a skincare plan tailored to your needs.
What does “medical-grade” skincare mean?
“Medical-grade” isn't a regulated term in Canada. It usually describes professional skincare lines sold through clinics, such as AlumierMD, that are recommended after a skin assessment so the products suit your skin and goals.
Why does sunscreen matter so much?
Daily broad-spectrum sun protection helps protect your skin from UV damage, which can cause pigmentation and premature aging and can undo the benefits of skin treatments. Ask us about options such as EltaMD® sun protection.
Can I use my skincare right after a treatment?
It depends on the treatment. Some active ingredients, such as retinoids or exfoliating acids, may need to be paused before or after certain skin treatments. Sophie will tell you what to use, what to pause and when to restart.
How do I get Latisse®?
Latisse® is a prescription product, so it's only available after a brief medical assessment with Sophie. Ask about it at your consultation.
